Historic Landmark

Strickland Arms, former home of Judge John McCamy Patterson, was built in 1904 and is nestled in the quiet central Austin neighborhood of Patterson Heights–so named after Judge Patterson’s family.  For the past thirty years, Jim and Barbara Strickland have been the proud owners of the Patterson home. With their authentic Texas-sized hospitality, James, Barb, their miniature poodle Sophie and their two cats, invite you to enjoy their Bed & Breakfast, noted for its friendly, casual and unpretentious atmosphere.

Featuring twelve-foot ceilings, formal dining and living areas, wraparound antebellum style porch, a private Italian garden styled back yard with pool and spa, the native limestone, turn-of-the-century, 5000 square foot home will take you back to a time when things were much simpler.
